It’s well know that TikTok and social media is a treasure trove for hair and beauty hacks. However, just as our Artistic Director Rhi shared in our latest issue of Roses, it’s important to take everything you see and do your own research to figure out what works best for you.
But, to make it a little easier, our team have put together a list of some of our favourite hacks that we’ve come across a hack that are actually genius and make your life a whole lot easier!
Quick and Easy Updo Tutorials
The messy bun is one of our favourite no-fuss looks, but, you don’t want it to actually be messy. We love the way @karlakazemi and @breannacohoonhair effortlessly style their buns.
Maybe you’re after something a little more formal than a messy bun? This updo style works for both short and medium hair lengths and takes very little time. The bonus is that it looks super elegant for work or a night out with the ladies.
Hair Routine Hacks
Got curls? We love this demo of a start-to-finish curly hair routine with Schwarzkopf Pro products by @moon.azad. We also love this refresh for curls from Authentic Beauty Concept featuring @itsashleyreuben.
If you’ve not got naturally curly hair, there’s still ways to get a wavy or curly look! We love this tutorial from Authentic Beauty Concept for a great texturised wave.
Or you can try the infamous TikTok Heatless curls hack that we reviewed in our latest issue of Roses. According to Rhi, “Heat really causes a lot of trauma for the hair and a lot of people think they use heat protection but they’re using it incorrectly or not well enough.
